Expand your empire across the map, advance your culture, and compete against history’s greatest leaders to build a civilization that will stand the test of time. Few hours later back to Switch etc.Play the award-winning experience. How easy is it go back and forth often? As in, playing on the Switch, wife wants to play Animal Crossing, go to PC. So I guess the question is: do my two versions need to have EXACTLY the same DLC in order to be able to work together, or can I fix it by just making sure I don't include one of those civs when setting up the game on whichever one does have them. Separately, if I don't buy the Platinum edition and only Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm on PC, the Switch expansion bundle does include Vikings, Poland, Australia, Persia and Macedon which I then would not have on PC/Steam. Rise & Fall and Gathering storm are on sale for Switch, on the PC I'm looking at getting the Platinum edition since it's a nice bundle, but then I am worried that I won't own Khmer, Indonesia and Nubia on the Switch. What is the deal with differences in owned DLC? Right now I only have vanilla for both (and the Switch itself is supposed to arrive tomorrow). Do I need to have an active paid for Nintendo online subscription to get saves to go to-from Switch - PC? Hi! Thanks for this but I still have some questions: Hopefully Aspyr can fix the issue when transferring from Switch to iOS. Hope this helps some people out when deciding which version to buy. As noted on Aspyr’s website this is normal when switching from one platform to another, you just need to give it a few minutes and then you’ll find the platform you’re switching to will log in as normal. I’ve also run into the issue others have reported where your 2K account appears randomly logged out and can’t log back in. In summary, cross save is always compatible apart from when transferring directly from Switch to iOS, and this file can be made compatible by first saving from Switch to PC. A save game that has been transferred from Switch to PC, can then in turn be saved back onto an iOS device.
